Product properties

BOSMAN Glue for plasterboards and OSB boards is a one-component, super fast and strong product, which is characterized by a quick initial grip, which significantly accelerates the progress of work. It does not grow, which ensures the stability of the glued elements. Perfectly adheres to most building materials. Easy to apply. Application: BOSMAN Adhesive for plasterboards and OSB boards is intended for quick fixing of: plasterboards and OSB boards, gypsum-cement boards, wood-based boards, magnesium boards as a finishing layer on the surfaces of floors, walls and columns. Perfectly adheres to substrates: ordinary concrete, autoclaved aerated concrete, ceramic bricks, silicate bricks, wood-based boards (OSB), XPS, EPS, PVC boards.

Application

Before use, keep the container with foam at room temperature for at least 12 hours. Use at ambient temperatures from – 5ºC to + 30ºC. Before application, shake the container vigorously about 20 times, then remove the cap from the valve and screw the gun onto it. Keep the container upside down while working. The surfaces must be clean, free from dust, grease and dust, without old contaminants such as flaking layers. We recommend checking the adhesion of existing plasters and paint coatings. If we find that plasters or paint have poor adhesion, they should be removed. The surfaces should be even, stable, load-bearing, dry and definitely not frosted or with water spots. Protect from direct sunlight by covering with paint, plaster or tape. Before gluing the board to the wall, place a spacer made of a piece of plasterboard or other material. OSB and G-K boards: Sand the OSB board to increase its adhesion and clean it from dust. Apply a 2-3 cm wide braid of the product around the perimeter of the board, approx. 5 cm from the edge and in a zigzag pattern through the center (if necessary). At least 5% of the surface must be covered. Leave an empty space between the braids applied along the edge of the board to allow air to escape. The diameter of the braids can be adjusted to the needs of leveling the wall surface. In case of larger irregularities, double braids should be used layer by layer. The maximum unevenness that can be corrected with the product is 20 mm. If there are unevennesses greater than 20 mm, additional spacers or spacers should be used, e.g. from plasterboard elements or other boards. The connection of glued elements with the substrate should be made as soon as possible after applying the product - from 1 to 2 minutes maximum (we recommend waiting 1 minute after applying the glue - it depends on the ambient conditions). After placing the board against the wall, carefully press it to adjust its position. Avoid damaging the adhesive structure by pressing strongly or hitting the board. Then, after the initial correction, use a long level to correct the final position of the board, carefully pressing it against the wall. Approximately 30 minutes after application, you can start processing the board, i.e. filling and processing vertical and horizontal joints between the boards. Always test the product before application due to the variety of glued materials.
