Product properties
BOSMAN FACADE IMPREGNANT is a product used as an impregnation for facades and walls. It ensures a long service life of the impregnated surface, creating a protective coating that prevents the penetration of moisture, thus limiting the formation of mold, fungi and salt efflorescence. It also increases the frost resistance and insulating properties of the surface. Protects against the degrading effects of water and changing weather conditions. Improves the aesthetic value of the facade.
Application: For securing facades, walls made of mineral plaster, stone, bricks, concrete as well as prefabricated concrete elements. It is also suitable for protecting sandstone, limestone, natural stone, granite, slate, marble, plaster, brick and concrete. Works well for porous building materials.
Application
The product comes in ready-to-use form. Before use, mix the product by shaking the package vigorously several times. Before using the product, prepare the surface, i.e. the substrate should be dry, degreased, free of any contamination (dust, efflorescence, discoloration, oil stains, moss, lichen, etc., preferably dirty surfaces, before applying the Impregnation, wash with a special Bosman Facade Cleaning Preparation). Apply the impregnation in a thin layer using a roller, brush or by spraying. Apply the product from top to bottom evenly, making sure that the entire surface is thoroughly saturated with the product. In the case of porous surfaces, it is recommended to apply a second layer on top of the previous layer while it is still damp. Apply one layer to less absorbent surfaces to prevent streaks.
After application, protect from rain for at least 4 hours. Use running water to wash tools. Efficiency: Impregnation consumption for one layer is 1 L for approximately 4 m to 6 m. Please remember that consumption depends on the porosity and absorbency of the impregnated substrate.
Note: Do not use the preparation on saline substrates, below the groundwater level or in the case of long-term exposure to pressurized water. It is recommended to protect plants and all facade finishing elements (wood, glass, metal, plastic). Contact with the impregnation may cause stains on the surfaces. The product may slightly darken the color of more absorbent surfaces. Shelf life: 24 months from the production date. Production date, capacity, batch number on the packaging. Due to the variety of materials used, always test the effectiveness of the preparation in an inconspicuous place on the working surface before use.
