Product properties
The three-layer roof membrane supplements the assortment of the hydroinsulating products. Intended for the so-called outer roof covering as a highly vapour permeable film. Its purpose is protecting thermal insulation and roof structure against moisture. Its structure allows draining moisture outwards towards the ventilation layer and prohibits moisture penetration inwards. All varieties of roof membranes consist of three basic layers. The middle layer has hydroinsulating properties, while the external layers made of pp unwoven fabric are used as a membrane protection and reinforcement. Together with increase in weight per square, the resistance of insulation to mechanical and physical factors increases as well. A roof membrane can be a less expensive and significantly more effective alternative to a fully boarded roof structure.
