Product properties
A flexible, waterproof external corner bead for sealing areas particularly susceptible to moisture (corners, wall-to-floor junctions, penetrations of installation components, etc.) and in areas subject to stress from shrinkage and thermal cracking. Ideal for sealing under ceramic tiles. Suitable for all building substrates, including cement-lime, gypsum, and anhydrite plasters, concrete, reinforced concrete, and brick masonry, screed, self-leveling compounds, plasterboard, etc. Proven in conjunction with single-component liquid foil.
For exterior and interior use, especially in areas particularly exposed to mechanical stress. Recommended for sealing with sealing mortar or liquid foil under ceramic and stone cladding in wet areas such as balconies, terraces, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, etc.
Application
The substrate must be clean, dry, frost-free, durable, sound, stable, and free of dust, oil, and adhesion-reducing substances. Larger surface irregularities, grooves, and depressions should be filled and leveled with a leveling mortar. The corner is placed between layers of flexible sealants. Apply the first layer of sealant, place the corner sealant in it, press it down, and cover with a second layer of sealant. The sealing tape should overlap the corner by at least 5 cm.
