For indoor and outdoor use, especially in areas particularly exposed to mechanical stress. Recommended for sealing with sealing mortar, under ceramic and stone cladding in wet areas such as balconies, terraces, laundry rooms, etc.
A waterproof, flexible tape designed for use in under-tile insulation, wall and floor joints, corners, and expansion joints. Easy to apply and profile, the tape boasts high adhesion thanks to its fully nonwoven fabric-coated surface. The thermoplastic elastomer sealant across the entire width of the tape remains long-lastingly flexible and resistant to aging, while the polypropylene nonwoven reinforcement ensures adequate durability.
Application
The substrate must be clean, dry, frost-free, durable, sound, stable, and free of dust, oil, and adhesion-reducing substances. Larger surface irregularities, grooves, and depressions should be filled and leveled with a leveling mortar. The tape is placed between layers of flexible sealing compounds. Apply the first layer of sealing compound, place the sealing tape inside it, press it down, and cover with a second layer of sealing compound. The tape should overlap by at least 5 cm.
